The Small Business Saturday event is part of  a CFIB effort to raise awareness of small businesses in Canada and the role they play.

Smallbusinesseveryday.ca is where you enter the contest to win cash and gift cards.  From their rules (full list at their site), it works like this:

1. Fill out the contest entry form at smallbusinesseveryday.ca, one entry per person.
2. There will be ten (10) draws for the $2,000 CAD cash prize (each) on November 29, 2021.
3. There will be an additional five (5) ‘bonus prizes’ available at the end of the contest for
   participants. Each bonus consists of a $150 CAD eBay gift card. The cash prize is drawn first,
   followed by the bonus prizes.
